Cambridge Visit |
Cambridge Visit Tuesday 11th October
Members and guests from the Club are invited to a tour around the Parker Library, Tea with fellow member and Master of Pembroke College, Sir Richard Dearlove and Evensong at King's College Chapel, Cambridge at 5.30pm followed by a tour and drinks with Director of Music and renowned conductor Stephen Cleobury.
Members will make their own transport arrangements to get to Cambridge. I will provide a list of names attending should members wish to liaise and maybe arrange to share a taxi from Cambridge Station.
11.00am; Visit to the Parker Library hosted by Dr Christopher de Hamel
Own arrangements for lunch
3.00pm; Visit to Pembroke College hosted to tea and a tour of the chapel by the Master and fellow member, Sir Richard Dearlove.
5.00pm; Evensong at Kings followed by drinks and canapés in the Saltmarsh Rooms ,kindly hosted by Stephen Cleobury, Director of Music
